Human Resources Talent Dev. Workshop
Psychological Safety: The Leader’s Role
Psychological safety is a belief held by members of a team that the team environment is safe for interpersonal risk taking. This training is offered for current ÓÐÁϺÐ×Ó employees by the Human Resources Talent Development Office. In a psychologically safe environment, people are empowered to voice their needs, ideas, and concerns, to ask questions, and to admit mistakes — all without fear of repercussions. They feel valued, respected, and supported for their perspectives and who they are; fostering an atmosphere that embraces vulnerability as a steppingstone to innovation and learning. Attendees can expect to examine characteristics and benefits of a psychologically safe environment and identify ways within your control to contribute to psychological safety on teams.
